Dr. Edwin Lee

Founder, CEO & Responsible Officer

Dr. Edwin Lee was a Director of the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited between 2013 - 2019. Edwin was the youngest and first non-American Chairman (2010) in the 29-year history of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the world's largest association for business brokers based in Chicago (USA). Edwin was the awardee of the 2010 Hong Kong Business Awards: Young Entrepreneur Award by DHL/South China Morning Post and named one of the 2011 Ten Outstanding Young Persons by Junior Chamber International (HK). He is the Responsible Officer of Bridgeway with professional qualification of Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong Regulated Activities Type 1, 4 and 9. 

Edwin also holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a B.S. in Finance and a M.S. in Accounting from the University of Southern California. Recently, he completed a three-year Owner/ President Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)

Prior to joining the company, she was a Director and Legal Counsel at Citigroup from 2004 to 2013 managing a team of 16 lawyers and compliance professionals, and serving businesses from investment research, to banking and trading desks in the Asia Pacific region. Before serving as in-house counsel at Citigroup, she served as law clerk at the Eastern District of New York where she did litigation work, and as a transaction lawyer at US law firms Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett (New York) and Morrison & Foerster (Hong Kong), handling IPOs, capital markets transactions, bankruptcy work, funds formation, and other general corporate matters.

Rita holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and a Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law. She is admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York (USA) and is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant.

Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer

Marc serves as a Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer at Bridgeway Prime Shop Fund Management Limited. He has over 10 years of working experience in finance and investment field, over 4 years sales trading and 6 years product and trading experience. He had worked in Founder Securities (Hong Kong) Limited, Chong Hing Bank Limited and other companies in the financial and investment sector before joining Bridgeway. He is Bridgeway’s responsible officer with the professional qualification of Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong Regulated Activities Type 1, 4 and 9. 

Marc holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

William has more than 20 years’ experience in legal and compliance, advising on corporate finance, corporate governance, real estate investment / transactions, insurance, taxation and accountancy. He started his career in the financial services industry in 1990s when he joined Peregrine Capital Limited, the then leading corporate financial advisory firm registered with the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong. The breadth and depth of his experience, knowledge and skill set had rendered him well positioned to take up senior management roles in conglomerates and financial services groups in the past years. Prior to joining the company, he was the Compliance Director of an asset management / investment advisory company which is part of a FTSE 100 wealth management group. 

William holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Commerce degree in Accountancy. He is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong.

Director

Monica holds dual responsibilities at Bridgeway. She oversees the company’s human resources and operation management. Meanwhile, she is responsible for fund sales and client liaison. She is licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong to carry on Type 1, Type 4 and Type 9 regulated activities as a licensed representative of Bridgeway.

Monica started her career in insurance and asset management field at China Ping An Insurance (Hong Kong) and Ping An of China Asset Management (Hong Kong). She carried on the promotion of general insurance business in the former one, and handled the IPO launch of a fund in the latter one. Subsequently she moved into private equity firm at SLS Capital Limited.

Monica holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Anthropology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
